Mark your calendars for the Holiday Art Fair at the Triton Museum of Art

Support OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief), your community museum, and local artists in this year’s Holiday Art Fair at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara, on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Mark your calendars for our next Holiday Art Fair at the Triton Museum of Art! This event will begin with morning art programming for the little ones and origami/ornament making activities for all from 10am to12pm, followed by musical performances, Mr. Taco Express taco truck, and complimentary beverages and wine.

Shop from an array of beautifully crafted artworks for sale ranging from jewelry to ceramics and featuring every one-of-a-kind treasure in between! With 27 local art and artisan vendors, there will be tons of options available for your perfect Christmas gifts for your friends and family.

OTYO! provides health resources through initiatives directly to our target community in rural western Uganda, as well as small grants to local CBO’s in the region. We also apply our fundraising toward the development of a small community center, which will provide community health education and access to training for trade skills and income generating projects.

OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief) will be an official vendor of the 14th annual Silicon Valley African Film Festival on Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Historic Hoover Theater, 1635 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95126.

Stories of Change: KTG’s Community Impact

The Kebisoni Tumanyane Group is a CBO registered with the Government of Uganda, which was started in 2019 as a community-based group that focuses on community development. This organization is sponsored in part by OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief) through our support of the KTG youth football league, and Kebisoni Tumanyane Sports Team.

Donate Now for the Kebisoni Tumanyane Group, Youth Football/Soccer League!

 

OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief) is proud to announce

Group (KTG), Youth Football/Soccer League!

The team, Kebisoni Tumanyane Sports, is managed under Kebisoni Tumanyane Group (KTG). Based in Kebisoni, Rukungiri District, Uganda.

Original founder and Assistant Manager: Nuwamanya Tom Bugaari

 

Kebisoni Tumanyane Group (KTG) consists of structured leadership with a chairperson, a secretary, and a budget, which conducts monthly and quarterly meetings. KTG is a fully inclusive sports organization, which provides a highly organized team experience for youth 15 years and up. Games occur bi-monthly, with 2 seasons running 8 weeks each, beginning in April and October.

All of us at OTYO! A Sigh of Relief are extremely grateful for the generous donations received throughout the month of November, including through Google Match. We are right on target with our fall 2022 fundraising goals!
