The African Art View and Sale Fundraiser for OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief), at ABURAYA, 362 17th Street, Oakland CA, Friday 9/9 through Wednesday 9/14, 11:00am to 9:00pm (closed Sundays). Art Exhibition and Sale featuring works by contemporary Ugandan artists David Kibuuka, James Kitamirike, Dan Sekanwagi, and many others. The exhibition will include oil and acrylics on canvas, limited edition giclee prints, sketches, as well as many unique wooden canvas and wood panel pieces.

Thank you for supporting OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief). OTYO! provides health resources through initiatives directly to our target community in rural western Uganda, as well as small grants to local CBO’s in the region. We also apply our fundraising toward the development of a small community center, which will provide community health education and access to training for trade skills and income generating projects.

Mission Statement

OTYO! (A Sigh of Relief) believes that by providing financial and technical support to community based organizations (CBOs) in rural western Uganda, and improving health security in the region, the quality of health and life of women, adolescents, orphans, and the people living in these communities, can be greatly improved. The goals of OTYO! are to improve efficiency and effectiveness of service provision in partnership with local community based organizations in the areas of:

Health Care Access
Health Education
Community Empowerment
